Job Description
I have been in the computer industry for the last 35 years and 30+ years as an Ethernet networks specialist managing networks at all levels (local, multisite and global). The easiest way to explain my job is connecting computers together so they can talk to each other, but I have many other interests and skills. I am also a regular podcaster (computer network and working methods for data security, manage network, infrastructure, wireless, servers and PCs , handle design and sales, offer on-premise multi-server sales and design (virtualization) and offer Microsoft and Intel training. I also offer staff management (onsite and remote), Sales and Support, marketing design, art and CAD design and create and 3D print real world hardware and am the owner of 2 large scale Prusa 3D printers.

I started working for large corporate, then worked up the career path. Microsoft and other manufacturer training, partnerships such as Intel Partner Alliance.

1987 - Programming and software reviews on Atari ST computers
1992 - Commercial repair and consultancy of IBM PC’s
1994 - Install, setup and administer Ethernet networks
1997 - Administer large scale networks as used in projects such as national lottery divisions in the UK
1998 - Managing 300+ staff corporate networks including sales division laptops, design, install of corporate printing solutions, site firewall security appliances for VPN and digital VoIP solutions. Testing new technologies such as WiFi Internet
2009 - Immigrated to Canada from the UK, partner with Xerox, Grandstream, Watchguard, Yealink and Intel Partner Alliance
2018 - Continued training and certification of Intel, Vivotek and Grandstream 2020 - Curation of bespoke computer, server and backup solutions
2024 - Expanding to more countries, focus on cost savings and site security, creation of new community based services
