Career Story

When I finished high school I made it my goal to achieve my first degree black belt. When I did, I had an amazing opportunity to travel to Japan to tour and train with our head instructors. Afterwards I spent five years working before going back to school to learn more about fitness and education.

When I graduated, I started my first business - Pro Home Trainers - which focused on in-home personal training. After two years, we decided to close the business due to a change of focus. I had been doing an outreach program teaching karate to a group of kids and my business partner was helping his brother with another project.

So once we shut that business down, I opened my dojo.

We've been operating now for over five years and have grown significantly. We doubled in size from our first location and continue to see growth. It's taken over seven years to get to this point... but it's been worth it.
