Career Story
After graduating from the WCDSB, I pursued a global studies and business undergraduate education at Huron University and Ivey Business School of Western University. This dual focus continued through my undergraduate work experiences, where I was an investment banking intern at HSBC UK and a policy attaché at the United Nations.
After graduating, I pursued a master's in finance at London Business School, intending to continue working in the UK. However, the pandemic had other plans, and due to UK visa issues, I returned to Waterloo to pursue a more entrepreneurial journey in developing a stacked townhouse project in Kitchener.
Education has always been important to me, as evidenced by my involvement in student council since high school, successful elections to the Western University Senate, and research assistant positions at my post-secondary institutions. As a result, I recently accepted a teaching position at Conestoga College, focusing on business strategy and analytics courses.
This fall I will be returning to graduate studies at the University of Waterloo. Through my MES (planned PhD status next year) at UW, I am researching AI ESG reporting frameworks and the impact of changing from green bonds to ESG bonds on environmental finance. Most recently, I accepted a grant to fund a research project assessing the curriculum change impact of ChatGPT at universities across Canada.
