Job Description

As the current Executive Director for Paris Child Care, I am responsible for 2 daycare centres and 5 before and after school locations within Paris Ontario. We have also just broke ground on our 3rd daycare centre opening in November 2026. We provide child care services to children from infant to school age. I manage upwards of 40 employees across all 5 locations and oversee all operations of Paris Child Care including budget, employee management, recruitment, marketing, finance, Ministry communication and more.

I also own Elephant in the Room Mental Health and Career Services. I have been a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor since 2017 with Mental Health First Aid Canada. I teach Mental Health First Aid in the community as well as to businesses wishing to have their employees trained. I have recently branched out in my services to offer resume a cover letter writing. Mental Health advocacy is my passion and I work every day to be a voice for those who often struggle in silence with mental health challenges.

Career Story

I am lucky enough to have been working full time since graduating college in 2017. I have worked in a variety of sectors including Public Health, Education, Not for Profit, Insurance. My career path has not been a straight line. I have held many roles in many sectors which have led me to my current path of Executive Leadership (my biggest challenge to date).
