Career Story
I graduated with an Honours degree in Music Performance, but quickly realized how challenging it was to build a sustainable career as a musician. This led me to pursue a college diploma in Environmental Technology, which opened the door to my current role. I began as a field technician, focusing on environmental monitoring and sampling.
As regulations evolved and the nature of the work changed, I completed hands-on training and became a licensed Gas Technician to work on landfill gas-fired equipment that our team designs and maintains. After more than a decade in the field, I transitioned into a supervisory position, continuing my education and earning my Professional Engineer license with Professional Engineers Ontario.
Today, I focus on design, engineering and operations improvements, while supervising a team of field operations staff. I am constantly seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge, improve processes, and deliver better results. Lifelong learning and continuous improvement are at the core of everything I do.
