Job Description
I manage the IT (computers and tech equipment) department for a company with 7 manufacturing locations across Canada, Mexico and USA. Our company makes plastic injection molded parts for cars - we make the parts you see when you are sitting in the car... on the dashboard and door. Things like the glovebox, or trim around window switches. As Director of IT I manager our Tech support team, Network infrastructure and Applications team that support our manufacturing operations. Then I would describe each of these if time permits.

Career Story
I studied Mechanical Engineering & Management at McMaster.
Started working at a different manufacturing company- worked there for 7 years as Manufacturing Engineer, Prototype Supervisor, Master-checking Supervisor.
Moved to Mitchell Plastics where I have worked for 20+ years.
Started as Process Engineer. promoted to Process Engineering Manager, took on Quality Manager position a well. Moved to focus on helping implement ERP. Worked on this for several years before taking IT Manager position. Then Director position.
During this time did MBA through University of Windsor.
