Career Story
From high school, I went to the University of Waterloo and graduated as a Computer Engineer. During my time in university, I did Co-op and worked at IBM in a variety of jobs which helped me understand where my professional interests lie.
Upon graduation, I worked at IBM first as an engineer doing a number of different positions ranging from application development, electrical design, product design and test specification. From here I was a manufacturing manager, an engineering manager and senior manager.
The IBM location I worked at became Celestica and I worked in a number of positions there ranging from marketing, technical sales, and product development. Working with many companies gave me a much more broader view of the technical world.
Next, I worked at Logitech, in their Harmony Remote Control division leading hardware and software teams that were designing universal remote controls for home. This was followed by working at RIM/Blackberry in the Advanced Accessories group designing products to expand the Blackberry product line.
Now, I have my own company and we bring STEM through robotics to students like you!
