Job Description

I help people who work find more happiness and success in their jobs.

I coach and train leaders in local organizations like the Region of Waterloo, the City of Stratford, Martins Family Fruit Farm as well as leaders in businesses throughout North America. I also train and mentor people who want to become coaches like me.

I help people in the workplace learn how to be better people leaders so that their employees, customers, and communities have the best experience as a result!

I am also a certified diversity coach so that means I help employees learn about unconscious bias and how to make the workplace psychologically safer. Sometimes we really do not understand or believe we are saying or doing anything that might not be welcome or appropriate for others who have different cultural or social backgrounds. It is so important to learn how to be culturally respectful so that we can create safe and healthy work experiences for everyone.

I am also a psychotherapist-in-training. I am a graduate student in a masters of arts in counselling psychology program and am passionate about continuous education. I love to learn and my motto or mantra is "It is never to late to learn and grow!"

Career Story

I grew up in Waterloo Region and attended Eastwood C.I for high school and Wilfrid Laurier University for my undergraduate degree in Arts. I worked for 24 years in various leadership roles for three of Canada's largest employers in the financial services sector. I've worked in human resources, marketing, business development, and risk advisory (for Deloitte). In 2014, I decided to become an entrepreneur to pursue my executive coaching and business coaching practice. It has been an amazing experience. I continue to learn and grow by taking various certifications and accreditations. I took half of another undergraduate degree in psychology at Laurier and then applied and was accepted into graduate school for a master's degree in counselling psychology. I love to learn and look for ways to share my experience, mentor others and help them find their career path and develop their skills. My website has a lot of information about me as well. From 2013-2015 I had a local TV show on Rogers called Authentik You as well as an internet-based radio show called Your Authentic Life.
