$19,500 raised maximizes matching gift

Waterloo Region's business community has met the matching gift challenge issued by Mike Stork to give at least $15,000 by giving $19,500 for a grand total raised of $34,500. That's the best ever result for the challenge and helps enhance BEP Waterloo Region's capacity to help youth explore their career options, set goals and determine their paths to achieve them.

Thank you to all of our supporters who participated in this challenge!

Businesses that contributed are Rapid Novor, Him and Her, Sonova Canada, Kuntz Electroplating, Clarion Medical Technologies, Dejero Labs, Staebler Insurance, Mechdyne Corporation, and Rapid Gear

"We greatly appreciate their generosity to supporting our work as a charity that contributes to a happy, healthy community by guiding youth to make informed decisions about their future. And a special thank you to long time supporter Mike Stork for once again believing in the importance of the workforce of tomorrow," said Scott Verhoeve, executive director of BEP Waterloo Region.

As a charity, BEP Waterloo Region contributes to a happy, healthy community by guiding youth to make informed decisions about their future. Our capacity to do so is enhanced by both our corporate supporters and individual donors.

Together, we're making every day Career Day for youth in Waterloo Region.
