Virtual Career Days
Here's your chance to explore many career options from people working in them now. Learn what they do and how they got there. Ask them questions!
Explore Your Future offers a series of virtual panels organized around different themes. We also hope it can include an in-person career fair in 2022.
While this program is specially designed to help students in grades 7 to 9 explore their career options, it is open to all youth.

The electrical engineer my son and I spoke with at WalterFedy was great. The openness for sharing why he chose the field, high school classes that he took, why he loves his job, and the opportunities sparked excitement. My son left that conversation and said ‘this is what I want to do.’
I learned that there are so many more options that what I previously thought there was.
Talking to professionals in the field and making those connections at such a young age is so beneficial . It also helped me as a parent to understand my daughter’s needs and wants more so that I can assist her more effectively.
We recommend the event to anyone in high school or grade 7-8. The number of employers that came out to the event was very impressive. Representatives were knowledgeable and helpful. We learned a lot from them.
We were most impressed by the knowledgeable staff of various organizations and businesses who shared their enthusiasm with us. We talked to a number of employers and organizations who showed a real interest in us and shared their experience with coop students and educational backgrounds required.
Not only is it a good networking opportunity to gain some shine on your own business but it is also rewarding to know you are able to reach out to the younger generation.
