Job Description

Helping Leaders Be Their Best Selves Imagine if every sports team, band, or group project had a coach who didn’t just tell people what to do, but actually helped each person discover their hidden talents and become even better. That’s what I do for adults in the business world. I talk to CEOs, managers, and team leaders to help them understand how to lead with confidence, kindness, and purpose—because not everyone learns or works the same way.

Solving Business Problems with People Skills Sometimes companies get stuck—they might have great products but struggle to work together or make decisions. I help them figure out what’s going wrong and how to fix it, usually by improving how people communicate, organize their work, or understand each other’s strengths. It’s kind of like being a detective and a coach at the same time. And yes, we even use LEGO to unlock creative thinking!

Making Work More Human (and More Fun) My job is all about showing businesses that treating people well, having fun, and thinking outside the box leads to better results. Whether I’m giving a big speech, working with a team, or helping someone one-on-one, I’m always focused on helping people feel confident, less stressed, and more excited to do great work. Because when work feels good, everything else starts to work better too.

Career Story

I’ve pretty much been in sales my whole life, starting earlier than most. My first job—at age 12—was riding around selling ice cream for Dickee Dee, which probably wasn’t legal, but it was a start. Through high school, I picked up a variety of part-time jobs, from flipping burgers at McDonald's to working at other fast food spots. To pay my way through university, I spent time roofing (which, as a tall guy, I quickly realized was not ideal). It taught me grit, though, and the value of hard work.

During university, I landed a job selling professional salon products like Joico and ISO, and then shifted into telecom, working for Rogers while completing my post-grad in Public Relations. That role turned into a full-time gig at Rogers, where I stayed for about five years. My path wasn’t traditional—I've jumped around a lot. And while that’s not always the easiest route, I believe if your role isn’t challenging or inspiring, you owe it to yourself to chase one that is. That mindset eventually led me into the world of software and high technology, where I rose into senior leadership and sales enablement at one of the world’s largest software equity firms.

Eventually, though, the fast-paced grind caught up to me. I hit a wall—hard—and ended up in the hospital. That wake-up call changed everything. Today, I help leaders avoid the burnout trap and instead build thriving teams through individualized leadership. I believe that effective leadership isn’t about pushing harder, it’s about empowering others. It’s about recognizing that employees don’t need to be micromanaged—they need to be seen, supported, and given the space to grow. That’s my mission now.
