Job Description
I am a Social Worker. I educate and prepare students for a career in Social Work. Not only do I help and support them in their field work, but I also support them academically. I also help run components of the program in conjunction with my Director.

Career Story
I didn't go to university right after high school and worked for a while. I did do lots of volunteer work over the years because I really liked working with people. Most of my career since my mid 20s until about 3 years ago was in the healthcare sector. I worked both in front line and management/leadership roles. I also completed some work as an advocate for federally sentenced women at the Elizabeth Fry Society. Now I work at the university's School of Social Work so I can share my knowledge and support and mentor future social workers.
