Job Description

I focus on teaching students how to identify and mitigate various cybersecurity risks for organizations. This involves strategizing to reduce the risk of threats compromising vulnerabilities in the technology a company uses.

I spent 25 years of my career working with clients to foresee potential security issues and develop robust measures to protect against them, ensuring the organization's information remains secure and well-managed in a constantly evolving technological world. This is now knowledge that I pass on to my students.

Career Story

After graduating from high school and enrolling in Commerce at my city's university. I realized the program wasn't for me and switched to Computer Science at another school.

Once I had my degree, I began my career at IBM as an IT generalist. But after 9/11, I decided I wanted to dedicate myself to information security.

The rest became history. I started work on the technical side of things and continued to grow and develop my skill set to the point where I was leading org anizations' security strategy.
