Job Description
I was the provincial representative for the community of Kitchener for eleven years. I helped represent the interests of my community when it came to decisions about issues like healthcare, social services and education. I was fortunate to be a Cabinet Minister for seven of these years meaning that I was in charge of certain issue areas including Colleges and Universities and our social services programs. I retired from politics and now teach at a university about how we can come together as a society and address major problems and issues.

Career Story
After high school I pursued a B.A. from Carleton University and went on to work for several years in politics and government. I then went to graduate school in England and returned to continue working in politics and government including five years for the Prime Minister. I then decided to run for office myself and was an elected official for eleven years. I now teach in the university system.
