Job Description

I own a construction company where I fix people's homes. Every day I do something different, whether it's working with my hands, visiting customer, working at my computer or planning my future. Right now I'm working to open a second business which is a rock climbing gym. This gym will allow my community to learn and grow in a sport not currently offered in my area. I will be running after school programs, competitions, teams and special events all in an effort to teach my community and give an opportunity that otherwise wouldn't be available.

Career Story

Starting in high school I worked for my father's stucco company where I learned the basics of trades. After high school I went to Conestoga College for 2 years and earned a Business Diploma. I then moved to Waterloo where I was introduced to rock climbing. I spent a couple years working in carpentry and concrete, learning more trades skills. Later I converted a van into a mobile home and travelled all across Canada, USA and Mexico for several years. After returning home I opened my own home renovations and repairs business which I use to fund my passion career of opening a climbing gym which will grow into multiple locations.
