Job Description
I am the Director of Operations for a multi-site child care provider. I have a diploma in Early Childhood Education and a Human Resources Certificate. I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator. My role is to over see the daily operations of 9 child care centres. I work to support Early Childhood Educators who are working directly with children ages 12 months to 10 years old. Before working in my current role I did work directly with children and families for several years. My job allows me to do the administrative work I enjoy but also the opportunity to influence the early years experience for children and families. Did you know that the most significant time for brain development of a child is between 0 - 5 years old. This means that Early Childhood Educators have a really important job and a big responsibility.
