I help people plan their vacations. The position requires an understanding of world geography and culture, an attention to detail, and the ability to create understandable itineraries and invoices. You need to be able to communicate with clients to understand their needs and to be able to explain, in detail, what you have created for them.

Career Story
I was an English major in University and spent a lot of time researching and writing essays. After university, I worked for many years in public education, which gave me an understanding of systems and processes. A couple of my positions there involved technical writing. Being a travel agent is a second career for me. It allows me to do something I love (travel) and utilize my skills in organization, research and writing to craft itineraries for my clients that are meaningful for them and allow them to tick items off their "bucket lists".
