Explore your career options and how to get there

A Career Day is a great chance to explore career options and to figure out how to achieve your goals. We're here to make every day Career Day for you.

Check out our events and resources that help you make informed decisions about your future.

Get started with Explore Your Future

Here's your chance to hear many people's career journeys. Learn what they do and how they got there. Ask them questions!

Explore Your Future offers a series of virtual panels organized around different themes. We also hope it can include an in-person career fair in 2022.

While this program is specially designed to help students in grades 7 to 9 explore their career options, it is open to all youth.

I love that the BEP connects our classroom to authentic learning opportunities from the community. Students are excited when they can ask questions of experts from the "real world". Teachers benefit from the up-to-date information provided by community partners.

Participating in Explore Your Future will help me in the future because it gave me a broader perception of all the career opportunities in the technology industry, and the local opportunities for students my age.

Talking to professionals in the field and making those connections at such a young age is so beneficial . It also helped me as a parent to understand my daughter’s needs and wants more so that I can assist her more effectively.

—Parent

We recommend Explore Your Future to anyone in high school or grade 7-8. The number of employers that came out to the event was very impressive. Representatives were knowledgeable and helpful. We learned a lot from them.
